After the giving of the 10 commandments, God gives to Moses the book of the Covenant. It is another way to say all of the practical and ethical outworkings of God's righteous expectations of His people as they seek to love God and love their neighbors in everyday life. By Exodus 24, we see the first worship service in the Bible which ends in Moses ascending the mountain again into the presence of God. My prayer for us this morning is to see the same invitation extended to us because of Jesus, our perfect mediator and Savior.
