The LORD brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt and led them into the wilderness. The Red Sea stood in their way from fleeing an angry Pharoah. God parted the Red Sea making a way where there was no way out. The celebration of Moses and the Israelites is a song that is repeated from then into eternity, "Great and awe-inspiring are your works, LORD God, the Almighty!"
